How to handle singular and plurals

Hi,

I would like to know how to handle both singular and plural to match the same pattern.
Ex: “get Statement” and “get Statements”
should show the same result without writing two separate patterns or without using ”<set>” tag.

Please advise me on this.

You will need to write 2 categories, where one <srai>s to the other.

Sadly, given the restrictions you’ve mentioned regarding use of <set> tags in the pattern, there is no way to have one pattern handle both the singular and plural versions of most words. AIML isn’t designed with that sort of complexity in mind. I wish I had better news than that, but I don’t. sorry.
