The link just seems to take your input and remove spaces from it before presenting it back to you. Is that what you meant to demonstrate?

The “AI” does nothing unless you ask it the specific scripted questions you have told us. Even changing the input from “My name is Tom Hanks” to “My name is Steve Worswick” produces no reponse.

Or you have blank answers, or you just have answers to scripted questions.

If your bot becomes able to make what you say it can do, you will have a wonderful bot with delightful conversation wich people would have real interest to talk to. At least I would…:)
But in the todays state of art, it’s very incomplete.

I don’t want you to think I am making fun of your project, but looking at the fact that you have been in development with your AI since at least Aug of 2010, you would think it could do more than a couple scripted replies? I don’t understand your logic since I can not even substitute my own name for Tom’s?

Since your using PHP for your platform, are you not using server variables or DB updating and recall?

I have been in development of my bot for over 6 months and although I could post links as I develop, sometimes it’s best to work out the alpha bugs at the minimum before making your project public if you want to be taken seriously.

I will watch for more progress.

You should really team up with a few other forum members (which will remain nameless) and combine your (talents?) efforts and perhaps together you may actually develop a chatbot that works? Either that or keep yourself otherwise occupied and out of trouble.

If we phrase it exactly as your script follows, complete with spelling and grammar errors?

From what I have seen so far, it cannot even recall my name when I talk to it, so it is highly unlikely it will process the style of questioning above, as you claim.
